Gillian Wiggin

Hi, I'm Gillian!
Let’s get lost in a story together.
I’m an immersive, emotionally invested narrator with a bright, expressive voice with a vulnerable edge.
I love outsider stories. Growing up in Japan, Singapore, DC, and Russia, I was constantly given the task to suss out who I was in new places. Now, I feel at home voicing characters in unfamiliar worlds—the peasant girl with strange powers, the housewife facing an alien in her living room, the mother resisting an oppressive regime. I speak conversational Russian and can do a legit Russian accent (no Boris and Natasha here!).
When I finish reading a book, the first thing I want to do is talk to someone about it; to process it, to share in the emotional release. Audiobooks make that connection possible in real time. I love being the conduit between author and listener. If you're looking for a narrator who’s not afraid of the big moments, who brings vulnerability to every situation, and can also land a punchline, let’s jump into the deep end together.
Hi, I'm Gillian!
Gillian is an NYU-trained, award-winning narrator who has always found a home in books.
The daughter of a US diplomat, Gillian spent her formative years in Japan, Singapore, DC, and Russia. Thanks to her linguist mother, Gillian developed a love of languages that empowers her to voice characters across cultures. She especially enjoys using conversational Russian to play unapologetic heroines in historical settings and international incidents.
A bit of a bubbly smartypants, she often plays characters who are smarter than the situations they find themselves in or come out the other side of traumatic life events. She loves big thoughts, big feelings, and big problems, especially in fantasy, YA, thrillers, romance, and sci-fi.
Words have always carried an incredible power for her. She believes stories have the power to help us process events and bring us to a greater understanding of ourselves and our world.

Gillian started doing the hour commute to school in Osaka alone at the age of six and strives to tackle the rest of her life with the same curiosity and determination. She’s always been obsessed with language and communication, which drew her to study Shakespeare at NYU and then work as a teaching artist in NYC schools after graduation. She loves to travel and explore the world, but seems to find herself back in Italy a lot (being a fan of renaissance art and Roman history will do that to you!).
She’s always been a dreamer and has been accused of living more in her own world than reality, something she hopes she’ll never be cured of. She’s usually daydreaming about something related to Greek mythology, plotting her next DnD campaign, or planning a hike with her kids that will invariably involve saying, “This is going to be such a good story once we’re back at the car!”
